CAB computer application in industry and engineering

Industries and engineering use a lot of computer applications in there daily activities. it is basically there technological up gradation. the various uses of computers are computer based design; computer integrated manufacturing; computer aided manufacturings and material requirement planning .
CAD or computer aided design is  the use of computer  technology for the process of design and design-documentation  it provide the user with input-tools for the purpose of streamlining design processes; drafting, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
CIM or computer integrated manufacturing is the manufacturing method of using computers to control the entire production process. This integration allows individual processes to exchange information with each other and initiate actions. Through the integration of computers, manufacturing can be faster and less error-prone, although the main advantage is the ability to create automated manufacturing processes. CIM relies on closed-loop control processes, based on real-time input from sensors.
CAM or computer aided manufacturing  is the use of computer software to control machine tools and related machinery in the manufacturing of workpieces.CAM also refer to the use of a computer to assist in all operations of a manufacturing plant, including planning, management, transportation and storage. Its primary purpose is to create a faster production process and components and tooling with more precise dimensions and material consistency, which in some cases, uses only the required amount of raw material and reducing energy consumption.
MRP or material requirement planning is a production planning and inventory control system used to manage manufacturing  processes. Most MRP systems are software-based,
An MRP system is intended to simultaneously meet three objectives:Ensure materials and products are available for production and delivery to customers.Maintain the lowest possible level of inventory. Plan manufacturing activities, delivery schedules and purchasing activities.

CAB information processing continued

Computer data processing is different kinds process used by computer program to enter data and summarise, analyse or otherwise convert data into suitable information. The process may be automated and run on a computer. It involves recording, analysing, sorting, summarising, calculating, disseminating and storing data. since data is most useful when well-presented and actually informative, data-processing systems are often referred to as information systems. data-processing systems typically manipulate raw data into information, and likewise information systems typically take raw data as input to produce information as output.

continued DBMS components

 Components Of DBMS
DBMS Engine The DBMS engine is responsible for all of the data management in the DBMS. The DBMS engine consists of two separate parts: the transaction manager and the file manager.
The transaction manager maintains tables of authorization and currency control information.
The file manager is the component responsible for all physical input or output operations on the database. It is concerned with the physical address of the data on the disk, and is responsible for any interaction with the host operating system.
Data Manipulation Subsystem helps user to add, change, and delete information in a database and query it for valuable information. Software tools within the data manipulation subsystem are most often the primary interface between user and the information contained in a database.
Application Generation Subsystem contains facilities to help users to develop transaction-intensive applications. It usually requires that user perform a detailed series of tasks to process a transaction. It facilitates easy-to-use data entry screens, programming languages, and interface.
Data Administration Subsystem helps users to manage the overall database environment by providing facilities for backup and recovery, security management, query optimization, concurrency control, and change management.

CAB Data Base Management System

DBMS is utilization of a set of computer program which control the various activities like  creation, maintenance, and the use of a database . A DBMS is a system software package that helps the use of integrated collection of data records and files known as databases. It allows different user application programs to easily access the same database.  It addresses problems such as security, accuracy, consistency among different records, response time, and memory requirements. DBMS is designed to manage a large body of information. Data management involves both defining structures for storing information and providing mechanisms for manipulating the information.
 Features of DBMS
  • DBMS can prevent unauthorized users from viewing or updating the database thus data security
  •  DBMS ensures that no more than one user can update the same record at the same time. It can keep duplicate records out of the database.
  •  DBMS provides a query language and report writer that lets users interactively interrogate the database.
  •  DBMS provides a way to interactively enter and edit data, allowing you to manage your own files and databases.
Database design is the process of organizing  data into related record types. The DBMS that is chosen is the one that can support the organization's data structure while efficiently processing the transaction volume.

CAB data processing

Data processing  is a process adopted in computers
by computer programs to either enter new data or summarize the already available data. It involves recording, analysing, sorting, summarising, calculating, disseminating and storing data as data is most useful when well-presented. Data-processing systems are often referred to as information system.

since raw data in nothing but unorganized  facts that are collected, they need to be organized and the process of which is called  processing . Data processing involves conversion of data into a machine readable format. Once data is in digital format, various procedures can be applied on the data to get useful information. Data processing involves :- Data summarization ; Data aggregation ; Data validation ; Data tabulation and Statistical analysis

Flowers

Learn about being a better thyself
Essence of love shall make you fonder
As the flower enriches the world, it enriches itself
Deeply touched by its wonder........

Life's tuneful harmony at once restored,

At nature's lowliest darling's gentle word
